Course Summary

An IP course that looks at providing a grounding in two principle routing protocols namely Open Shortest Path First (OSPF) and Border Gateway Protocol (BGP).

All network engineers who are in need of information concerning the configuration and operation of link state protocols such as OSPF and the Path Vector Algorithm demonstrated by BGP. This is an essential prerequisite for anyone considering taking on Multiprotocol Label Switching (MPLS).

Prerequisites

It is essential that engineers have a grounding in IP and networking which is best obtained by attending our Wray Castle course ‘Internetworking, Ethernet LANs and VLANs Principles – IP1304’ and ‘IP Addressing and Internet Protocols Principles – IP1305’.
