Course Summary

This course presents an overview of the 802.11 family of wireless LAN technologies that are more commonly known as Wi-Fi. The course introduces the various forms of Wi-Fi currently in use and looks in detail at the structure, operation and functionality of Wi-Fi connections. It then examines the security mechanisms required to protect a Wi-Fi network. Consideration is also given to identifying common Wi-Fi problems and how to correct those issues in a Wi-Fi network.
