Course summary

A detailed technical description of the core and radio access networks of 5G. This includes 5G architecture and interfaces, overall protocol architectures, provision of services over a 5G network, and procedures for signalling and system operation.

Who would benefit

Engineers and other staff involved with switching or transmission architecture, optimization, network management, network testing or monitoring of the 5G network.

Prerequisites

An engineering background with some knowledge of core network technologies, including IP, is assumed. Experience of LTE systems would be beneficial.
